We had an amazing week in the last paradise... We try to give you a little bit from the feeling that we felt there, the atmosphere that we saw there, the culture in which we were living... Some blogs about... 1. How the idea came... let's go to Vanuatu... 2. Underwater world and the first walks 3. Vanuatu people and their living places 4. Rainforest tour during Hola cyclon 5. Hideaway Island interview 6. Open for You... send us some questions, what are you interested in about Vanuatu 😉 Mele island, Vanuatu, 03/03/18 In the middle of our Australian adventure tour we love discovering small treasures of our Earth and let our followers involve in these beauties. Coming back from New Zealand in December we were preparing ourselves to go to an other amazing place in March. Since weeks we were waiting for our next dream adventure. We decided to go to an amazing place where you can find different kind of adventures, tours, beauties where we've never been before. We thought to visit Fiji. Fiji, beautiful, seems a perfect place, a perfect destination. Then... a day Mike asked me... why don't we go to Vanuatu? What? Vanuatu? Where is it, what is it? We checked a little bit... Vanuatu, the last paradise... Mystic islands, mostly with volcanic origins in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean, still kept their ancient culture in the amazing rainforests and in the hug of the blue ocean. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanuatu) OK, we decided immediately, let's check the flights, the islands and let's go to the Last Paradise 😉 From Sydney you can find flight tickets at a reasonable price (500AU$) and in March which is still not a peak season good accomodation possibilities as well. We checked some resorts and we found a particular one on a tiny island just few hundred meters from the main island, Efate where you find the capital of the country, Port Vila. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Vila) Our base is Hideaway Island Resort which is famous for its underwater living coral colony with plenty of amazing colorful fishes and other sea animals and its crystal clear water. Mini island with a couple of bungalows in the quet, silent, romantic nature. (http://hideaway.com.vu/) Then Saturday arrived. Morning running, then qick packing and go to the airport. The flight departed at 8pm and arrived in 3 hours to Port Vila. Hmmm... maybe we will be the only travellers here? 😉

... then... 😀

First breathes at 11pm: huge humidity and about 28 degrees. This is still a little bit rainy season, we were prepared for some showers, thunderstormes which is just part of a normal tropical wheather 🙂 There are buses during the day but late night you have to organise to get a taxi which takes you to your place. There is a non-stop boat transfer between the main island and the small Mele island, so we could get easily the boat at midnight. We got a small present from the driver, a necklace from shells, we were ready to enter into the paradise 🙂 The view while we are coming to Mele island 😍

& on the island in the warm romantic dark 🙃

We arrived into our room, drank our welcome coctail then fell asleep.

At 6am in the morning some locals were coming early morning in the island, the first rays of the sun were coming and we could not sleep for longer. No words what was waiting for us...

Breakfast, then the ocean is calling... 🙂

Our arrival was simply perfect!
We feel so lucky to have all these experiences and have the chance to share it with you ☺️
We will spend here 8 days... cannot wait to discover this unique world in the middle of the ocean ⛰
Hear you later with the breathtaking underwater world and the amazing green beauties 🌏
